What is tooth whitening?

Tooth whitening is a process where carbamide peroxide or hydrogen peroxide gel is used to brighten the teeth. There are just three visits involved.

What is involved?

1. Firstly a bespoke tray is made which involves taking an impression of your teeth. Once this is made you return, normally one week later, the tray is fitted and we go through the process of applying the gel at home. This tray fits each individual perfectly and when applied the gel spreads evenly amongst the teeth.
2. The trays are usually worn at night. For best results it can take a couple of weeks to achieve the final outcome.
3. The last appointment is a review to see how you got on and that you are happy with the results.
